Here's a fun project that I've been working on- beaded bookmarks/ bookthongs. Beautiful art glass beads are strung onto color coordinated waxed Irish linen cord. The designs are complemented by silver toned spacer beads and charms.
You'll enjoy reading even more with these bookthongs. The string lies snugly into the spine of the book without stretching or damaging it. The two colored cords can hold two different pages at once. The beads hang at either end of the book for a delightful reader's companion.
The center of the cord is 12 inches long. This is long enough for a hard cover or soft cover book.
