A Tear to Treasure Necklace

I'm excited to have found this new "A Tear to Treasure" necklace from one of my suppliers. It is a solid sterling silver teardrop shape with another teardrop shaped pave-set cz charm ontop.

The back has this inscription:

Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as I were beside you so- 'twas heaven here with you. Isla Paschal Richardson

It comes on an 18 inch sreling silver cable chain.

The necklace is appropriate as a memorial remembrance for any type of loss. Makes a gorgeous and heartfelt gift!

Finally, Footprints of Matthew's

We only had one set of footprints of Matthew's when he was stillborn 5 1/2 years ago. The nurse had placed one set of ink footprints onto a keepsake "Birth Certificate" card. Promptly, I went to get professionally framed this card, two photos, and a poem card that was in our hospital memory box. The back of the frame was archival sealed so the contents wouldn't disintegrate over time. There was no way to take this card out of the frame without destroying it.

Even though I'd been making custom footprints for almost 3 years, I never made one of Matthew's own footprints because of the frame issue. It finally dawned on me last week that I could take a picture of the keepsake card in the frame and then make one of my new photo charms. I had to do quite a bit of photo editing since the ink footprints were on top of many areas of writing on the card. This is the original photo of the keepsake card:

The charms are from left to right: Blue Chalcedony Healing Tears, Small Square Photo Charm, Real Forget-Me-Not in Cross, Medium Engraved Heart, Medium Vertical Photo Charm, Small Baby Footprints, Real Rosebud, Small Oval Photo Charm. I'm happy to finally have my "Matthew Bracelet" finished and have a permanent tangible memento of my little boy lost.

New Exclusive Designs

I am proud to announce the release of three brand new bracelet designs made exclusively for the Remembering Our Babies Memorial Keepsake Boutique.

The designs are specifically in remembrance of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness. They are created with Swarovski crystal based pearls in cream, light pink and light blue, the awareness colors. The top two bracelets feature clear lampwork glass beads with pink and blue glass ribbons on each side.

I also created four new charms that can be attached onto any existing bracelet, or one of these new bracelets. Choose from Mother of an Angel, Mother of Angels, Grandma of an Angel, Grandma of Angels. The back of the charms are blank so that they can engraved by your local jeweler.

Find the Missing Links Contest

When you are newly bereaved, you enter a strange new world that you didn't know existed and that you don't want to be a part of. Overwhelmed by grief and emotions, it is common to feel completely alone and not know where to turn for help.

Realizing that most of my website visitors are just days and weeks from their loss, I wanted to compile a comprehensive listing of resources as a springboard for my visitors to find the help and support they so desperately need.
