Mother's Day is May 9th, which is quickly approaching! All mothers deserve something pretty on their special day and I'd love to help you put a smile on your favorite lady's face this year. Mother's Day is a particularly difficult holiday for a woman whose child(ren) has passed away. What should be a day of happiness and celebration becomes lonely and painful for the bereaved mother. While she is still a mother, the outside world may not acknowledge that. If you know a woman who is grieving the loss of her child(ren), be sure to reach out to her on Mother's Day. You can visit her, send a card, or call her to let her know that she is in your thoughts and that you are remembering her child(ren), that they are not forgotten. If you are a bereaved mother, try to communicate with your family how they can help you to get through this holiday. Be gentle with yourself and don't participate in any activities that you don't want to. As always, you are all in my prayers. A Mother's Day Ode

I am your mother, but you, my child, I cannot hold.

It'll get easier with time, or so I'm told.

People may forget that I am your mother.

I'm part of a secret club we only share with one another.

But that doesn't diminsh my love for you.

I think of you the whole day through.

I wonder what you're doing, my Precious Little One.

We are connected by an Infinite bond which cannot come undone.

I will not let death tear us apart.
